    What I Teach

My teaching style can best be described as equal parts crochet instructor, cheerleader, and enabler. I am passionate about helping others discover their creativity.

I have dabbled in nearly every craft that uses wool or yarn. The things I am most passionate about are crochet - especially freeform, spinning, and needle felting.

    Where I Teach

I teach at fiber festivals, for guilds, retreats and in yarn shops.

Yarn shop owners, I can customize a class for your clientele or to highlight a certain type of product. Contact me! I’d love to work with you.

I live in the metro Houston area and am willing to meet for small group or individual lessons as well.

For any class inquiries use the form on the first page to send me an email.

    Teaching Individuals & Small Groups

Fees: Let’s get the money out of the way first. When I teach outside of a yarn shop or event I have a variable rate based on the number of people I am teaching and the length of the class.

    Private Class

    $30/hour or $45 for 2 hours

    Double Class

    $25/hour/student or $37/student for 2 hours

    Three or more people

$25/per person for 1.5 hours or $37 each for 3 hours.

I am willing to travel to teach your small group. If you are outside of the greater Houston area I will let you know what the travel charges will be and get everything in writing ahead of time.

Workshops for Yarn Shops, Guilds & Festivals

I teach to spark creativity and enthusiasm for the fiber arts and would love to come to your shop or event.

I have a list of classes and workshops that can be specifically adjusted to your clientele, and many of these would work well together as a series of two or three workshops which will allow students to have plenty of time to deeply explore a technique.

I have a list of classes I teach but am always looking for new inspiration and ideas. Let’s work together.
